Top 7 Things to See and Do in Liverpool

Hen Party   /   Mar 12th, 2019   /   0 COMMENTS   /  A+ | a-
Liverpool is famous for a few things – the Beatles, football and the River Mersey for example – but that’s not all the city is about.  Most people don’t realise that it has the oldest Chinese community in Europe as well as being a UNESCO World Heritage City. So if you are planning a hen party weekend in Liverpool or just a few days away from home, here are some of the things to see and do in Liverpool.

The Beatles Story

Even if you aren’t a fan, the museum dedicated to the Fab Four is a brilliant place to visit when in Liverpool.  The award-winningwalk throughmuseum tells the story of the band but also the times when they were famous, the locations around the city and has the largest selection of official merchandise in the world.

Radio City Tower

If you want to get a few of those panoramic photos of the city or great group shots, then this is the place to go.  Built in 1969, it is the Liverpool version of the Space Needle in Seattle, towering above the city for the best views.  It is 120 metres high and is used to broadcast the local Radio City channel.

RIBA North

The RIBA North national architecture centre is a sleek, modern building on the Liverpool waterfront that is ideal for fans of architecture, craftsmanship and art.  It has a series of exhibitions and talks as well as city tours and the unique building is also brilliant for those photo moments.

Hot Water Comedy Club

Our buff butlers will always travel to a venue of your choice to host a hen party to remember for one of your nights in Liverpool but for another night, the Hot Water Comedy Club is the best place for a laugh in the city.  There’s a triple headline on Fridays and Saturdays, live music after every show and a private function area too.

Mersey Ferry tour

Featured in its own song, the ferry across the Mersey is a great way to get around the city and to see Liverpool from a different view.  It offers a hop-on, hop-off ticket so you can use it as a way to get from one attraction to another plus there are interactive exhibits on the ferry worth checking out.

British Music Experience

The British Music Experience is a massive, interactive exhibition that covers all periods of British music.  There are real outfits worn by David Bowie, instruments that belonged to Noel Gallagher and the Sex Pistols and even the chance to try your hand at some music creation yourself – or have a singalong.

Tate Liverpool

The Liverpool branch of the Tate museum is located on Albert Dock so easy to combine with other attractions and is the best modern art gallery in the city.  If you love modern art or just are fascinated by all things artistic, then this is definitely a place to add to your list of things to see in Liverpool.
