There are loads of different activities that are associated with hen parties – and lots of them involve alcohol! While that’s all good, there are times when you want to do something that’s a little different. That where our hen life drawing parties can be the ideal solution.
What is life drawing?
If you have ever seen an art class where everyone is gathered around their easels and drawing a person posed in the centre of the room, then you have an idea of what life drawing is about. It is drawing a real person – or in this case, one of our gorgeous, hunky buff butlers! The party involves you and your friends grabbing some art materials and drawing our butler while he poses for you. He can pose fully or partially nude, depending on what you prefer.
Our specially trained butlers are happy to sit in various positions while you all take a shot at drawing him. This generates a lot of laughs, some interesting artwork and is brilliant fun. The life drawing session lasts for 60 minutes so there’s plenty of time to work on your masterpiece.
During the final 30 minutes after the drawing session is finished, your butler will grab his classic butler gear and announce the winner of the drawing competition. Everyone gets to have a drink and he will also post for pictures if you want a photograph of what you were drawing – as well as a fun memento of the party.
How it works
If that sounds like the perfect solution for your hen party, then the process of making a booking is simple. We currently offer life drawing in Bath, Brighton, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Bournemouth and London. All you need to do is book a venue with enough room for everyone to spread out and something for your butler to pose on. Make sure everyone has chairs, but easels are optional!
Once you have a venue in mind, give us a call and arrange a date. Check it with your venue and if everything matches up, you are ready to make a booking. We are also able for an additional fee to provide all the materials for the drawing activities including pencils, A4 papers, erasers and even bring along a bottle of prosecco to give to the winner of the competition.
Who would life drawing work for?
Obviously, if the bride is an artist or works in the creative world, then the life drawing hen party will definitely appeal to her. But we also find people love the fun of drawing a nude or nearly nude guy even if they don’t think of themselves as artistic!
We also find life drawing is perfect for a daytime activity if you are staying somewhere for the weekend but don’t want to be on the go all of the time. A 60 minute drawing session followed by a few drinks and laughs as you compare your artwork is the perfect downtime before a night out, a fine meal or any other activity.
